Hello Novato High Families. Do you have an NHS Athlete? Are you looking to find a way to help support NHS Athletes? Well look no further, become a Sports Booster Member TODAY! We have 3 different levels in which you can join. The Black and Gold membership comes with 2 season passes to both Football and Basketball (admission is charged at these events) along with a yard sign and a special NHS merchandise item.

Remember joining Sports Boosters is different than directly donating to your NHS sport. By joining Sports Boosters you are supporting our general fund which for helps supplement items such as, but not limited to:
Officials Fees, Athletic Training Supplies, Athletic Training Equipment to help with recovery, New Weight Room Equipment, Senior Banners, Yearly grant for each sport - helping with equipment, Travel Outfit for Team Unity, New scoreboards, HUDL Subscriptions for each sport, and so much more.

At NHS Athletics all student-athletes must complete baseline concussion screening before the season begins. We’ve got three opportunities to get this done — choose what works for you:

Dear Novato High School Family,

We are thrilled to announce that, following a comprehensive search process, Mr. Max Buchholz has been selected as our next Athletic Director, pending final employment clearances and credential issuance.

Max brings many years of experience in athletic administration and coaching, most recently serving as a baseball coach at Novato High School. Throughout the interview process, Max stood out for his deep commitment to student-athlete development, sportsmanship, and building a culture of inclusivity and excellence both on and off the field. He says,

“I am thrilled to be joining the Hornet community and look forward to raising the bar for athletics here at Novato High School. We have outstanding sports programs, and our athletes and teams have accomplished remarkable things in recent years. Let’s build on that momentum and continue to show why Novato High School is a great place to be a student-athlete.”

While we finalize the standard onboarding and credentialing processes required by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and the Novato Unified School District, Max is already working closely with our administration to ensure a smooth transition for the upcoming school year.

We anticipate Max will officially step into the role as soon as possible this summer. Please join us in welcoming him to the Hornet family!
